Why is there currently no cure for LAMA2-RD?

Finding a cure for any rare disease such as LAMA2-RD takes time. Developing and proving that a new therapy is effective and is safe enough to use in people requires years of careful research and clinical testing. Research is actively progressing and the international scientific community working on LAMA2-RD is growing. We are not there yet, but we are moving in the right direction.
